United Announces April 2020 Domestic Schedule Reductions    03/25/20

United continues to aggressively manage the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak on our employees, our customers and our business. Due to a continued drop in travel demand as a result of this outbreak, today we announced a further reduction in our domestic schedule for April. The changes will result in a 52 percent overall domestic reduction from a previous 42 percent, and our overall capacity will now be down 68 percent. The revised domestic schedule will be viewable on united.com and unitedcargo.com later this evening, March 25.

As previously announced, while travel demand continues to drop and United continues to adjust its schedules accordingly, we know some people around the globe are displaced and still need to get home. While United's international schedule will still be reduced by about 90 percent in April, we will continue flying six daily international operations -- covering Asia, Australia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe -- in an effort to get customers where they need to be and their cargo where it needs to be.

The United Cargo team is working to develop tailored solutions to meet your needs. We have secured additional capacity on selected routes worldwide through our own aircraft and our interline partners. We also continue to utilize additional trucking options to serve you. Please contact your United Cargo Sales professional to inquire about and/or book this space.
