United Cargo’s freight facilities in the northeast U.S. are experiencing extreme weather and flooding due to a nor’easter storm on the Atlantic Coast. In response, United Cargo is announcing restrictions effective immediately through 23:59 EDT Wednesday, October 27 as detailed below

Restrictions at Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford CT, Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and LaGuardia Airport (LGA):

  • All QuickPak, TrustUA, LifeGuard, and perishable shipments are restricted
  • Outbound shipments are restricted on narrowbody aircraft
  • All cargo will be accepted on widebody aircraft

Restrictions at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR):

  • All GEN, EXP, TrustUA, LifeGuard, and perishable shipments are restricted
  • QuickPak shipments may only be accepted on flights that are operating
  • TC cargo only will be accepted on widebody aircraft
