Freight and trucking facility hours of operation for the Christmas and New Year’s holiday
In observance of the Christmas and New Year's holiday, several United Cargo freight facility and trucking locations will modify their hours of operation on Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, Wednesday, December 31, and Thursday, January 1.
Please note:
- The hours listed below apply to United Cargo freight facility locations. Pickup and drop-off locations for QuickPak small package shipments at airport terminals will operate under their normal hours during this period.
- United Cargo Customer Contact Center agents are available Monday through Friday from 06:00 to 23:00 CST and Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 17:30 CST at 1-800-UA-CARGO.

Do not book any shipments on the United LTL (T98) trucks departing the U.S. on the dates listed above.
Christmas and New Year's Day are U.S. government holidays. Many businesses, including truck operations, are closed.
- LTL (T98) capacity has been zeroed out in UC360 to prevent booking for the effective dates above.
- No or limited recoveries will happen on the effective dates above.
- FTL/EUVs will be operating on limited availability, please ensure bookings are made as far in advance as possible.
Christmas Domestic Holiday LTL Schedule
- No LTL pickups or deliveries will be scheduled on December 24, 2025 and December 25, 2025.
- Normal LTL trucking operations will resume on December 26, 2025 at 0800.
New Year's Domestic LTL Schedule
- No LTL pickups or deliveries will be scheduled on December 31, 2025 and January 1, 2026.
U.S. Truck Drop Stations:
The following U.S. truck stations will be closed at 12pm on December 24th and December 31st, and they will be closed December 25th and January 1st:

- MEL-PER: No service from December 18, 2025 - January 2, 2026
- PER-MEL: No service from December 22, 2025 - January 6, 2026.
