Acceptance of New Bookings into BOM Resumes    03/21/19

United Cargo is pleased to announce we are again accepting new bookings for shipments to or through Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India (BOM).

While we have reopened capacity on daily 777 flights to BOM from our EWR hub, please be aware of the following:
- The South Asia airspace restriction that prompted the suspension of new bookings earlier this month remains in effect. The situation in the region remains in flux and changes may compel new or reinstated restrictions.
- Heavy shipments (units or pieces weighing over 5,000 pounds) are more likely to be impacted by weight restrictions mandated by unforeseen changes in flight paths. Please avoid booking and tendering heavy shipments to BOM.
- The suspension on the acceptance of new bookings on flights into Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India (DEL) remains in effect.

United Cargo regrets any inconvenience caused by the just-lifted suspension of new bookings into BOM and the continuing suspension of new bookings into DEL. We will issue further updates as the situation evolves.
