United Cargo EXP offers global expedited air freight service for time-sensitive, priority shipments to cities around the world served by United Airlines. With EXP your freight has access to priority boarding, reliable and proactive monitoring and the fastest transit times from acceptance to recovery all with a money back guarantee.

United Cargo EXP benefits:

Priority boarding

  • When you ship EXP you are guaranteed your freight has the highest priority boarding status and access to high demand inventory

Last Minute Reservations

  • Making your urgent shipment booking can now be last minute. A reservation for EXP can be made anytime up to acceptance.
  • Shipments may be booked online or by contacting United Cargo or your local Sales Office. In North America, contact United Cargo at 1-800 UA Cargo.

Short transit times

  • Drop your EXP freight 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time and 3 hours for international freight dropped at United *gateway locations.
  • Recover your EXP shipments 2 hours after the flight arrival for US domestic shipments and 3 hours for international freight.
  • Extra handling time is required for hazardous materials. For details on location and hours of operations check information.

Enhanced Shipment Handling

  • Highest priority boarding status.
  • Shipment weight/size limited only by aircraft capabilities.
  • Service available systemwide on scheduled United Airlines flights.

Proactive Monitoring and Notification

  • For your quality assurance we monitor your EXP shipments. If on occasion we cannot meet our commitment, we offer you timely proactive coordination and communication to resolve the situation.
