Warehouse
The area of an airline facility that houses the cargo.
 
Warehouse Transfer
Inbound cargo being transferred to another bonded warehouse for breakdown purposes and customs clearance. Also referred to as Container Station.
 
Warm Blooded
Having a body temperature that is relatively constant and usually warmer than the surrounding, as with mammals and birds.
 
Weight - Gross Weight
Entire weight of a shipment (includes weight of container, when applicable.)
 
Weight Break
Levels at which the air freight rate per 100 pounds decreases. Examples of levels: 100 lbs., 250 lbs., 500 lbs., 1,000 lbs.
 
Wide-Body Aircraft
United Airlines aircraft B-747, B-767, B-777 and DC-10.
 
Without Reserve
A term indicating that a shipper's agent or representative is empowered to make definitive decisions and adjustments abroad without approval of the group or individual represented.
